Hawaii Learning Resource is pleased to partner with Assets School to provide a workshop for educators — “Project Read: Written Expression Module.”

The workshop will be 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Kanu o ka ‘Aina New Century Public Charter School, 64-1041 Hi‘iaka St. in Waimea.

The workshop is designed to help educators teach students to express their thoughts through writing using multisensory strategies and materials.

Robyn McMullin, curriculum specialist at Assets School, an independent school for gifted and/or dyslexic children located in Honolulu, will present the workshop.

She is a certified member of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators and a certified Project Read Written Expression facilitator.
